The Idea
The idea of the project "
Lithuania . 24 Hours" is to
invite to Lithuania famous global
media photographers who would
record, according to the themes
provided, moments of Lithuania 's
becoming a member of the European
Union during the entire day. More
than one album about Lithuania has
been published; however,
most focus on
the country's nature or present
picturesque views for tourists.
This project provides a unique
opportunity to glance at the daily
life of Lithuania and its people.
The Goals
Project " Lithuania . 24 Hours"
has several goals: first of all, it
aims to create an outstanding
photo-essay about a historical event;
to get famous photographers of the
world involved in a joint project;
to provide an opportunity
to a group of
talented photojournalists
to work together
and share experience.
